Ilissa Schutzbach DDS

Dr. Ilissa was born and raised in Rochester, Michigan. She attended Michigan State University for undergrad (Go Green!) and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. She knew she wanted to be a dentist since the 6th grade because of her love for science and caring for others. Through shadowing at a young age, she knew that the dental field would be a good fit for her perfectionism and attention to detail.

Dr. Ilissa currently resides in downtown Detroit, but has been practicing in the area for the past few years. She prides herself on being compassionate and treating all patients like family. Aside from providing top-notch care, Dr. Ilissa enjoys reading; pilates; and spending time with her friends, family, and two cats. She is also recently engaged to her fiancé Sean, and will be getting married in September 2025. She can’t wait to meet you!
